Fluid Retention

Caridzem CD ... is this is the cause of my water retention. My knees are in such pain from water build up. How do I get rid of the fluid. I am drinking a lot of water.

Cardizem CD contains the active ingredient Diltiazem, which is a calcium channel blocker, used to threat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

And yes, it can cause fluid retention, which can lead to some severe health problems. Have you consulted your doctor?

Drinking more water, if you are retaining fluid, is only going to worsen the condition.

CARDIZEM CD 120 mg mfg Valeant OUT OF STOCK AGAIN
This is a critical drug for me prescribed for AFIB. Being that hypersensitive to medications it is the ONLY drug I can take for my problem. They have tried me on all of them all the side effects are severe. Even tho I still have some side effects from the brand it is the least of all evils. They effect both my heart and my breathing. I have 33% lung function having both COPD and Asthma.....so when a side effects my lungs it is Critical and life changing for me. And as for the heart all the other drugs mess with it ...not with a true arrhythmia but with all other kinds of hesitations, jitters, hard beat, flip flops etc etc ..all of them except for the brand effect my heart this way. So many other side effects those are the most important as they altar my life.

They went out of stock in Jan 2017 came back on April 2017 I was devastated taking others to help me to get through it...all with the bad effects....including the "authorized generic" which it is not a carbon copy as they say. Now I was to refill the beginning of March 2019 they are out of stock again...and I don't know when they will be back. They can put a man on the moon but not keep critical heart drugs on the shelf. Disbelief.
