While it is not really common, there is a chance that your partner may be a carrier and could be repeatedly infecting you. Has your partner ever been treated or tested for it?
Diflucan and Fluconazole are the same, Fluconazole is just the generic form.
The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain.
