Flonase Causing False Ua Positive For Phenobarbitol?

In a point of care urinalysis, I tested positive for phenobarbitol. I was taking flonase/afrin and over -the counter cold medication at the time of the test. can any of these medications cause a false positive in a point of care urinalysis?

No, there is nothing among the medications you listed that is known to cause a false positive for the barbiturate Phenobarbital.

CITALOPRAM, ALPRAZOLAM AND CENESTIN--DAILY. MIRAPEX (OCCASIONALLY), ZOLPIDEM (RARELY), LIDODENRM LIDOCAINe ADHESIVE PATCHES OCCASIONALLY
fLONASE AND /OR AFRIN NASAL SPRAYS, SUDAFED AND POSSIBLY ZITRTOMAX FOR BRONCHITIS (FOR 5 DAYS). i DISCUSSED MY SITUATION WITH ANOTHER ONE OF MY LONG-TERM PHSYICIANS OF RECORD WHO COULDN'TTHINKD AF ANYTHING ELSE PRESCRIBED THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED A FALSE POSITIVE IN THE POINT OF CARE URINALYSIS WHICH IS PRONE TO FALSE POSITIVES, HUMAN CONTAMINATION, DEPENDS ON PROFICIENCY OF PERSON ADMIKNISTERING AND READING TEST AS WELL AS STRICT CHAIN OF CUSTODY ISSUES. wHY WOIULD THE PHYSICIAN WHO ACCUSED ME OF PHENOBARBITOL USE NOT HAVE CONFIRMED THE RESULTS WITH a confirmation test such as sending the speciumen to an outside lab for a conclusive GC/MS--the results of which, I understand, are infallible. Both my other physicianhn and I both requeted this as well as a print out of the results which opf course we never received since the Gc?MS wasn't done according to the hospital lab even though the physician claimed it had been done. The point of care UA's were all hand-written. Any tests sent to an outside lab were alway sent to me by the hospital lab in official printout format.
