Fioricet Manufacturer Generic

I can no longer get blue Westward 787 Fioricet. I bought Vantage 2355 but it makes me feel awful and does not help my headache, but creates a more intense one. What to do? Is there another pill similar to Westward 787?

Hello Bird,

Unfortunately there is no way to know for certain which generic will work best for you until you keep testing out different ones. Different manufacturers use different "inactive" ingredients, which may cause reactions similar to the one you've experienced with the generic Fiorocet from Vantage.

Have you tried the generic Fioricet from Mikart Inc.? They manufacturer an oblong white pill with the imprint MIA 110. It is scored down the middle and blank on the other side. This pill contains (325 mg) of Acetaminophen, + (50 mg) of Butalbital + (40 mg) of caffeine. Maybe you can speak with your pharmacist about your options?

These MIA 110 certainly worked the best for me made by Mikart but they stopped making them. Wish they would bring them back!

I get the generic butalbital, acetaminophen and caffeine. I swear they changed the formula as they don't work as good as Westward and others did. I just hope they don't stop making them ever as they do help headaches somewhat. Helped a lot before. They keep selling the formula to other companies and they ruin them. These new ones are by Lannett. Best ones were the tablets with aspirin, but they don't make those anymore by Westward.

Hello, and I must agree. The"caplet" with MIA 110 Markings are the best that I have ever had, and I have been taking Fiorinal/fioricet for 20+years..And no, they have not stopped making them, I get 180 every month through mail order pharmacy.best of luck to you!
