Finding A Substitute For Oxycontin

I was nearly killed in an auto accident in '92. I developed severe fibromyalgia among other problems due to brain damage and temporary coma and paralysis. For years Drs. Told me my pain was all in my head. It wasn't recognized as legitimate until '97. I was unable to even stay conscious due to pain I was eventually put on a very complex cocktail of meds to help me and even achieved some independent life. Now I have learned my medi-care program isn't going to cover it. This will ruin all I've struggled to achieve. They tried me on morphine, didn't do a thing. I already take percocet, valium, soma, and others, yet still need this to overcome the pain. I don't feel good but I can function. I don't know what will happen if taken. Can anyone help me?

They already tried the patch a long time ago with no luck
I never increase my dosages but my body habituated quickly
I also take Soma . The 1st day I took 1/2 a pill and sat on the couch and just drooled and zoned. The next day I took a whole pill and had no noticeable effect nor have I since
I have heard of some people being able to lower the amount of meds they take by using medical marijuana. Has anyone else heard anything or of anything else ?
I'm not sure what else your insurance will cover, however, there are regular release formulations of Oxycodone that it may cover, plus the Fentanyl patch, they are also both available as generics.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Does anyone else have any suggestions?
