Find Doctor To Prescribe Fentanyl

i am suffering with fibromyagia and now with renal failure my doctor is refusing ro prescribe fentanyl some doctors will perscribe it but i can not keep going to a new doctor evry week to find out. my needs are urgent and i should be on dialasis. does the doctor need to be on some special program ?

Hello, Bob! How are you? I am very sorry about what you're going through.

Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, such a medication can now only be prescribed by a pain management specialist. A regular PCP can't prescribe it. Additionally, if you're asking for such a medication, most doctors are going to see that as being drug seeking behavior and are going to refuse to prescribe it.

It is the most potent narcotic available, so many doctors are not going to want to start you out on it, anyway. It leaves you nowhere to go later, as your body becomes tolerant to it.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
