I am looking for help with a perscription addiction. I have head that methadone has help many people get off perscription pill. Don't know where in my area to go.

For addiction treatment, Methadone must be administered in a clinical setting by those who are specially trained in its use for such. General practitioners are not allowed to prescribe it for that.
