Find A Doctor That Prescribes Methadone In Lexington Ky

I can't afford to keep going to the methadone clinic I have medicare &medicade insurance I have 2 herniated disc in my neck and methadone helps the pain the best and I also have herniated in my back ,so when some one needs pain medicine they treat you like a criminal

I'm sorry, but if you've been going to an addiction treatment clinic, you're kind of stuck. General doctors can only prescribe it for pain according to the current laws. So, even if you were going to a clinic for pain, the fact that its an addiction clinic is what's in your records, so no other doctor will be able to prescribe it for you.

I know that no one informs you of this and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is the way things stand, at this time.

I have had 3 back surgeries, severe nerve damage in my feet and been living this way since I was 17. I am 44 and been on methadone 10 4x day for 10 yrs. It is only thing relieves my pain. Recently the laws has changed in Ky and My doctor said since he isn't a pain clinic that I must change doctors. I am so afraid they will take away my medicine. I can't take the pain without it. The first visit to new doctor, he wants to try shots in my back. I have went through this before. Why are doctors so afraid to give people their methadone? All these people that abuse it, hurt us. The one's who really need help. If anyone knows of a doctor that will give me my meds and are in Lexington, Ky or Richmond or Somerset, KY, please tell me.

Methadone treatment for addiction is prohibited to be released(HIPPA) to either your Doctor or Kasper...unless you would sign a release.

what doctor near lexington or mt.sterling prescribes methadone? I have had a lumbar disectomy done on my back and I have had two shoulder surgeries and amma scheduled for another one on the 28th of this month. They put 4 anchors in my shoulder and sutered cording to try and hold it down. I suffer from chronic pain on a daily basis and I have tried methadone years ago. I am prescribed percocet now but it just doesnt seem to last and dont really help the pain. Does anyone know a doctor who prescribes methadone ? Thank you for any suggestions.
