This is crazy. We've gone to walgreens for 3 days now. Everyday, different times. Definitely gotta do something because we don't hav money to pay $600 for ma and pop pharmacies. Its just complete bulls*** the amount of gas we waste looking. We've already drove to hernando from pasco 3 times. & what's worse is that they won't even hold the script. Its outrageous that they're putting all of us in the same category. But don't give up, that's what they think were gonna do. We gotta fight and standup for what we believe in!

This is not just oxycodone.. this is across the board now, when I could no longer find anyplace to fill my 30mg x 180 per month prescriptions back in OCTOBER, my Dr. switched me to numerous different prescriptions in an attempt to be able to fill at least SOMETHING. Methadone 10mg was the last I could find anywhere up through mid January, and this was only sporadic, 30 here, 25 there, the cost used to be $35 for 180, then it went to $30 for 25 or 30, forfeit the rest of the prescription DRIVE BACK TO THE Dr. for the "balance" -drive to up to 17 different pharmacies to find the next 30 of them at another $30... all in all, I add up over $400 per month for 122 Methadone 10mg in January.

and ANOTHER thing that is PAINFULLY obvious:

when you post up a message on some site (say.. I dunno, THIS one for example...)

and you write something like:
"OXYCODONE 30mg x qty prescribed by Dr Galakowitz of Moron Falls" -you're not helping ANYONE
Those of us who have legitimate needs for these medications have no trouble whatsoever obtaining prescriptions. -those who have tried to obtain via diversion, have always run into caveat after caveat, and this is because the medical community as a whole has been FANTASTIC about weeding out the one's who don't NEED these. If you're looking to get high, look elsewhere. Oxycodone are far too expensive and troublesome to try to obtain for non medical reasons. there are much better alternatives for you.
But regardless, posting a Dr's name, location and prescriptions written is just asinine.

those with legitimate needs often have a STACK of valid prescriptions, from licensed physicians, but can no longer fill them due to the WITCH HUNT brought on by misinformation and outright LIES

Supplies of NEEDED medications being cut-off by the DEA and law enforcement is the PROBLEM.
The position taken by the Pharmacist cowards have allowed this to perpetuate into the epidemic it now is. I have yet to hear of a Dr. who supports this abuse.

Please use the proper forms to report pharmacists to the appropriate State Board, if you believe you have been wrongfully denied medications, if you discover Price Gouging or any other unethical or inappropriate actions continued by Florida pharmacies (if you can't find similar protocol for YOUR state, feel free to message and I will assist you in finding the fight forms, procedures and contacts for your State)

1) To file a formal complaint with the Department of Health against a pharmacist (rudeness is not a valid complaint) (click on link below).

Write down every thing the pharmacist tells you

You will need the pharmacist's full name and their work address and phone #......their DOH license should be on display.

If they refuse to provide you with their name make a note of date and time of incident.

Need Help, I,ve been on Methadone for 17 yrs, I,m 53 old, I was in a motorcycle accident at age 18, I,m really messed up, both knees, and back have had surgerys, with failed back surgery and Knees are shot. I have been to Pain doctors and will not deal with me because I,m on Methadone, any ideas Thanks

In Pittsburgh and have had chronic pain since 1998, i got better and now am sick again and hospital placed me on morphine ER 60mg 2tabs 2x/day. legal.....Now not even a pain cliic will fill it. I am sick and never have bought off the street. I am in pain and need help. withdrawl is killing me and nobody will help. Help me please

Hello to All! I recently underwent surgery for a multi-level cervical discectomy and fusion. Everything was fine until 2 months after the surgery, when the doc decided I no longer need any pain meds. So, I followed up with a pain mgmt center 40 miles from my home (I was referred).

The doc understood that although some symptoms are better, I am still in pain. So, he prescribed 15 mg oxycodone. However, as many other folks have mentioned, I cannot get the rx filled anywhere. This is truly a problem. I am only thankful that I don't have cancer or something truly devastating.

I believe this to be a serious issue for people who have true health issues. Perhaps the best idea is for the drug companies to come up with a new drug that works and the gvmt and pharmacies aren't familiar with. Although I believe it would still be classified as a Schedule 2 drug and most pharmacies are not filling them these days.

Please let me know if I am misunderstanding anything. But, it is to a point where i would rather deal with the pain than drive all over central Florida to find a pharmacy that will fill the prescription.

We neeed to start recording the pharmacy that we go to that says they are out of stock or their excuses and talk to the head pharmacist. Write down what they say and then do a class action suit against each of the pharmacy's for discrimination. Thats all it is they have the medication they just do not want to give it to us becuase they feel that we dont need it. But it takes 6 years to be a head pharmacist and only a few weeks to be a tech but our doctors have over a decade they perscribe the medication so I dont belive that these uneducated pharmacists can make our life hell...

If somebody would stop Pam Bondi then people who REALLY NEED and are starting to contemplate suicide due to the amount of UNRELIEVED pain thanks to bondi B***H and the Douche Enforcement Agency....then and only when you relieve the F***ing A*holes from power will we be able to get our meds back. 3 years of oxycodone can't afford back operation; now, I haven't seen ONE Oxycodone pill since April. I have all the unfilled script to prove it.

Aries Health is open in Valdosta, Georgia. We do take a limited number of out of state patients. Filling here in Valdosta will be very difficult with an out of state ID however. We are a legit clinic and not a candy shop. If you have a legitimate injury and the diagnostic imagery reports to prove it, then we will be happy to help ypu.
