Fill Methadone Prescription In Fl

It's not just methadone it's all narcotics. Florida won't fill any narcotic. Believe me we've tried. We next day air the script to our family in minneapolis, they go to our pharmacy for us, fill and ship back to us. It's a pain but it works.

Wow, I think its pretty ridiculous what extent patients have to go through in order to be able to have their legal medication filled, as if it's some sort of secret substance that no one can speak of in the State of Florida. And even across the country in California, my dad was just telling me the other night how he had to drive to several different cities in Southern California (which is very spread out) just to get a weak 5/325mg Norco script filled, because everyone was "allegedly" out of stock. With the way things are headed, these medications may eventually rival the value of gold and silver, if they haven't already in some States Lol.

Nevertheless, I'm glad to hear that you found a solution that has been able to work for you and your family. Sometimes we have to go to these extreme measures to get what we need, but at the end of the day our efforts are worth it.

I've been on methadone for 15years for a hurt back & have been getting them thru a mail order pharmacy thru my insurance ! Now they say the dea won't let them do this anymore! Any suggestion of a pharmacy

What????? Are u kidding me? Florida is FAMOUS for oxycodone scripts! I know people that travel there from FAR away just to get to the doctors in Florida....I just CANNOT believe they don't fill narcotic scripts in that state...maybe u mean scripts written from out of state doctors? They have script mills in that state...or they used to....up until very recently!? People would come back to my state w/ tons of oxy.....right straight outta the sunshine state!!

I believe they are saying fl will not fill a narcotic prescription EARLY! I live in jacksonville, fl and have been on methadone for 6 yrs and sometimes if you are paying cash you can get your script filled 2 to 3 days early but if relying on insurance than they make you wait the full month.
