Will chewing fentanyl strips cause tooth decay? Thanks

When it comes to chewing on the patch, I would think that tooth decay would be the least of your concerns? Tampering with the patch in any way (especially by chewing it) could easily cause a fatal overdose.

But if you've noticed any sort of tooth decay at all, I would probably say the best way to counteract it is through proper oral hygiene (frequent flossing) and also staying away from overly processed foods/sugars.
