Fentanyl Patch With Opana Er

I just need to know how long I have to wait from removing a fentanyl patch to taking an opana er. Fentanyl patch is 12mcg/h and opana er is 15mg.

Were you provided with any instructions for switching? Other than possibly some time, there shouldn't be any other reasons to have to wait, since they are both narcotics and don't cancel each other out.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

However, the Opana isn't as strong as the Fentanyl, so you may still experience some withdrawal effects, such as nausea, dizziness, chills, headache and diarrhea, as listed in the databases.
