Fentanyl Lollipop

what would happen if I ate an expired fentanyl lollipop? Are they less potent? What happens to them after its passed its expiration date?

This medication doesn't get dangerous, once it's expire, but yes it does start to lose effectiveness. It is best to dispose of expired medications and see your doctor for a new prescription.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
