Hi, Bernie! How are you?

On this, I really have to admit that I'm not sure. Fentanyl is the strongest opiate narcotic available to treat pain, so I'm not sure where else you could go.

In some extreme cases, I do know that doctors have resorted to combining patches for someone that's grown tolerant to the highest dosage and is very tolerant to opiates in general, so that's possibly an option. Though this is usually reserved for those with intractable pain due to cancer or other severe, life threatening illnesses. In some cases, they can hit a point where comfort and quality of life outweigh the fear of prescribing too high of a dosage.

Learn more Fentanyl details here.

But for someone with an injury or a condition that can be corrected, such as through surgery or other treatment, taking them up higher is something that most doctor's will be very reluctant to do.

Has to doctor involved had any suggestions?
