Fefolvit And Weight Gain

Hey, I want know if fefolvit tablets are used by unmarried women as it is mostly prescribed in pregnancy? I am 23 and weighing 87 kg trying to loose weight, I go to the gym 7 days a week and eating a 1200 cal diet, but facing hairloss and split-ends, also my skin is dry and dull. Someone suggested me these tablets. Can i take it as i didn't have any blood work performed nor did I check my Hb level and iron level....? Now i want to know if these tablets cause weight gain or if it would stop my weight loss? If it is I'll stop using it....Also, does it cause any breakout and pimples? Because i have startd fefolvit last week and I've had a pimple on my forehead but am not if it's due to the medicine or something else.. Thanks.

I was suffering from iron deficiency anaemia and my doctor prescribed me fefol vit. It did cause pimples over my forehead plus I put on weight but it was good for me as I was underweight, Alhumdulillah. Hair also grew longer.

how much weight did you put on using fefol? did you observe any side effects? i observed most of the weight gain is in the middle section and on thighs.

I took these tabs for 3 days and I started having acne on my forehead.... I don't know about weight gain but it happens when I start taking multivitamins, then face problem of swollen eyes and swollen hands.

Yes, its causing a weight gain. I was having capsules for 20 days and my weight gain is abnormal.
I checked my diet and it was fine, then i figured out these capsules are making me look chubby.

Yes it causes weight gain as i used it for 2 weeks and it made me look chubby. And i gained weight so i have stopped using it.
