Federal Law
UpdatedI just noticed my prescription bottle says federal law prohibits refill. It is Norco 7.5 /325mg .Why does it say this?

Hello, Darlene! How are you?
This medication was changed to a schedule 2 drug last year (2014), so you can no longer have refills on it. You'll need to see your doctor each month, just like you would with any other narcotic, to have more prescribed.
The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
