False Positive On Drug Test For Methamphetamines (Page 2)

I recently took a hair follicle test and it came back positive for meth. I've been clean since April 24, 2013. I was on Trazodone and Prozac until roughly July. My hair said I was positive with only 2100 points on the chart. Could it be from my meds?

I took a hair follicle test this week and it came back positive for methamphetamine. I haven't taken any in 5 months. My boyfriend smokes it in the same room as me. Could that make my test come back positive?

Tony, I was hoping that you might have an answer for the follicle results. I’ve never used meth, however I’m prescribed adderall and my results showed both drugs. As a result, I lost custody of my 4 year old son. I haven’t seen him since 10/19 and I’m feeling helpless hopeless worthless and useless right about now.

Can a doctor actually tell you that you're on methamphetamine when they actually do not follow the guidelines ... the urine is not refrigerated after, I was never given a copy of the results, etc. Can they hold a false test over your head?
