Eye Pain - Wysolone

Hi I am a female 58 years old .... I have a eye pain for past 5 months , when consulted a doctor they said that there is a swelling in the nerves nearby the eye, so they prescribed wysolone 10 mg after taking it i dont have the eye pain, but when i dont take this tablet even for one day , my eyes turns reddish and i get the eye pain , Doctors are advising to take this tablets for 2 years ... please suggest what should i do

Wysolone contains the active ingredient Prednisolone, which is a steroid class medication and, in cases such as yours, it is used to help reduce the swelling.

It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, weight changes and fluid retention.
