Expired Penicillin V Ks

I have some penicillin meds that expired 02/25/2015. Can I still use them or are they not good?

Medications tend to lose effectiveness over time, which is why they have expiration dates on them. Thus, it may not work as well and with antibiotics, it creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria, so it would be best to dispose of them.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
