Is it OK to use prednisone 3 months after the expiration date?

This is a steroid class medication and they do tend to degrade over time, so it's most likely not going to be as effective as it was, before it was expired. It would be best to see your doctor for a new prescription.

This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, weight changes, acne and fluid retention.
