Expiration Date Morphine April 2013

Is my morphine oral solution still safe to take it has been refrigerated since April 2013 ?thanks

Most likely not, liquid medications tend to go bad, after the expire and could actually make you ill, if you try to take it. It would be best to dispose of it.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
