Expiration Date Etodolac

I have a prescription of etodolac that says it expired on June 11, 2016, it's now August 1, 2016. Can I still take it?

This medication doesn't become dangerous, or toxic, once expired, but it does start to lose effectiveness and may not work as well as it did, when new. Thus, it would be best to see your doctor for a new supply.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
