Excluton Pills

hi...i'm on my 3rd day of menstruation...is it ok to start on the 3rd tablet of excluton to be exact on the day indicated or start on the first tablet...or can i start taking the pill after my period or wait for my next period before taking the pills...thanks..hope for your reply asap....thanks..
