Excessive Gas

I burp a lot and certain days have no appetite, I feel like there's a bubble on the inside is popping, and I feel weak and my stomach starts to pain, as if I need to go to the loo, but can't, I even have pain in my chest as well on my back, could this be excess gas, I was diagnosed with gastritis, I was on nexiam for 2 weeks but it hasn't helped. Could it be that the food has not digested properly, and it's siting in my colon that's causing the problem, I pass stools only once a day, and could I be constipated. Please help

Those can all be symptoms of the gastritis that you've been diagnose with, as reported by the NIH. I suffer from it myself aid know that it can be quite miserable. It's a condition where the inside of your stomach becomes irritated and inflamed due to excess stomach acid.

The Nexium can also cause stomach pain, as a side effect, along with the gassiness, as listed by the FDA.

Have you tried any other medications to reduce stomach acid and perhaps to ease the gas?
