Number on my pill is 369 and it is more than 3X the size of one I have from a different company. What extra is in your pill that makes the need for it to be SO large??
this site does not manufacture medications, so we did not make the pill you are referring to.
My guess, however, would be that it contains more inactive ingredients than some of the others on the market, making it a bit larger.
How do I find out about the inactive ingredients? I don't want to take more stuff than I need to, it just ups the odds of having a reaction.
You would need to contact the company that manufactures the pill you are referring to. There is a broad list of what they are allowed to use as inactives and only they would know the specifics.
Who does manufacture Ethex Kv Pharmaceuticals Metoprolol? Can you advise me who I should contact about inactive ingredients? I am gluten intolerant & anything derived from wheat, rye, or barley is toxic to me. I have been feeling terrible since my pharmacy switched me to your generic. It doesn't contain melamine from China, does it?
i make the metroprolol,if you want to know all the inadtives leave me an email.thanks
I was just notified by my pharmacy that the 25mg was recalled by Ethex , however, the 50mg was available. I still have some of the 25mg remaining. What was the problem with the 25mg..are the safe to finish.
I've just been advised by our mail order pharmacy that Ethex metroprolol ER will be unavailable for a few months. What is the problem? Are there other generic mfrs?
I was just advised by my pharamist today that your company has pulled all metropolol off the shelf. I want to know why. I know it's not just the size of the pill. I haven't felt right since I was switched to your brand and have had trouble maintaining my BP and Heartrate. please advise.
When I switched from metoprolol ER made by Par I began to have daily episodes of atrial fibrillation. I became leery and as soon as I switched back to the Par form the episodes stopped. You have screwed up big
ER tablets of any medication have a special coating which does not allow absorbtion quickly but extends it over a long period of time. ER = extended release. If you cut the tablet in half, you destroy the coating and so it is no longer ER.
