Estrg/mtest

Awhile back my wife was prescribed Estrg/Mtest 2.5/1.25mg. The pill the pharmacy gave was,as she describes, a light green capsule. The pharmacy where we had it filled couldn't fill it at one time saying they were having trouble with pharmaceutical company being able to fulfill orders. So we took her prescription to another pharmacy. Again she received a light green capsule as before. Later we received a call from our regular pharmacy that they were finally able to get things straightened out. When we went back to have it filled again the pill changed to a dark green in color. We also noticed on the bottle it read 1.25/2.5mg instead of 2.5/1.25mg. The pharmacy says its the same pill she's been taking. We had thought that with 2.5/1.25mg light green pill that she was taking a higher dose of estrogen with a little testosterone. Now with the dark green pill 1.25/2.5mg is the dosage not reversed? Is she taking a smaller dose of estrogen with a higher dosage of testosterone?

Hello, Don! How are you?

What are the markings on the pills? That is what would enable me to double check the dosage for you. What they pharmacy has printed on the label actually means nothing. It could very well be the same dosage and they may just have printed it differently.

Can you please post back with this additional information? Thank you!

The FDA lists this as a hormonal supplement medication and typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS like symptoms.
