Eryko 250 Rash Outburst

Hi. I am a 20yr old male. I've got this lump on the right side of my head and lyk a boil jus behind my ryt ear. The doctr gave me Eryko 250 for this. Since I took eryko my lymph nodes have been swelling and I've got a high fever as well as a skin rash. I would like to know if this is caused by eryko 250 as all this started after taking eryko 250. Please help

Is the skin rash itchy with hives, or is it just a rash?

If you have itching and hives, then you may be experiencing an allergic reaction, so you'd have to stop taking this medication and see your doctor for an alternative.

However, if it's just the rash, then you are likely experiencing normal side effects that will go away a week or so, after you finish the antibiotic.

Other possible side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea.
