No, that would actually contribute to the degradation of it, since freezing it exposes it to moisture and ice crystals can form in the medication.
Thus, not only is old, but storing it in such a way has greatly hastened its aging.
Have you consulted your doctor? You should do so, in order to get a new prescription, if an infection is present.
