Erdosteine medications are mucolytics, it is usually used to help treat conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Bronchitis.

It is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcers.

Patients should be watched for reactions such as: diarrhea, nausea, spasmodic colitis and headache.
