Equate Brands Have Changed Manufacturers

In the past I have purchased several equate brand OTC's. Recently I have found them to be either completely ineffective or reduced. Specifically their stool softener (plus stimulant laxative) comparable to Peri-Colace. Too bad, they were inexpensive.

Hi Julie,

Sorry to hear about your experience with Equate brand OTC meds not working as well as before. If you don't mind me asking, which brand have you resorted to using now?

I for one find epsom salt to be an excellent stool softener, along with a number of other natural remedies (including various fruits, vegetables, and water). But with Equate brands allegedly out of the picture now, it may be a good idea to just continue trying different alternatives over time until you come across something similar to what you once had.

I hope this helps!
