Eptoin And Levesam Side Effects

My son of 9yrs is being prescribed eptoin 150mg a day n levesam 500mg half at nite.. what are all the side effects he would face as I am much much worried according to his age.. it's just been 4months and he got fits

My daughter had her 1st episode of fits. The neurology Dr. advised her to take an eption strip 2 times daily for 2 months. He also recommended levesam. What is the benefit of levesam instead of eption?
