Embeda 30/1.2 + Norco 10/325mg Not Helping With Pain

I have been taking 15 mgs of oxycodone 5 times a day for 4 yrs, but they stopped working. Then I was taking dilaudid with 15 mg oxycodone. Still no help. Now I am taking Embeda 30-1.2 twice daily and Norco 10-325 4 times a day. Still in pain. What should I do?

The next step is most likely Fentanyl, it is the most opiate available, it is in a patch form that is usually effective for 48 to 72 hours.

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

It is something you can discuss with your doctor, anyway, to see if it is a viable option for you.

I use to be on the fentanyl patch. It takes a day or 2 to get in your system but after that it does work. I had no problems with withdrawal when I stopped but they may be because I was on other prescription. There is no weird wacky feeling from it either so that was good
