Eltroxin50 Mcg Now Can I Take Thyronorm Insted Of Eltroxin

I m 6 months pregnant dr advice me to take eltrocxin 50mcg but in market yhis is not available they gave me thyronorm 50 mcg can i advice me should i take this or it is save for my baby..my tsh is 9.6

I have hypothyroidsm .I take eltroxin 75 my tsh level 15 days back was 1.98 then I switched to thyronorm 75 .l rechecked tsh level afer 15 days it was 3.25. I want to know is there any difference between eltroxin and thyronorm or both are same

They both contain the same active ingredient, which is Levothyroxine, it is used to treat thyroid disorders. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, weight changes, mood swings, and hair loss.

As to Shreya, it is far more dangerous to not treat your thyroid condition, while you are pregnant, so you should take the medication as instructed by your doctor. Congratulations on the baby!
