Eliquis And Tiredness

I have been experiencing joint and muscle aches. Also a loss of memory and totally can't smell. Also things don't taste as good. I am on neurontin as well. That maybe together with eliquis is causing this lethargic and dizzy feeling. I had a really bad cough. I went into AFIBULATION and that is the reason for all these meds.

Those can be normal side effects of Eliquis, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.

Michelle, you should take it, as long as your doctor directs you to do so. If you don't like the way it affects you, you could speak to them about possibly trying a different medication. However, skipping doses or suddenly stopping, if you're at risk of clots, could be very dangerous.

These were all my same symptoms plus weight gain. My legs were so weak I thought I had MS. My doc switched me. So much better.

what did your dr switch you to? I'm having the same issues, gaining weight, feel exhausted all the time and have muscle weakness

What did he switch you to? I take Eliquis and it’s causing numerous side-effects. I have not had weight gain yet but my stomach is bloated bigger than when I was pregnant. Also, my leg muscles are so weak I can hardly go up and down stairs any longer. I told my dr I wanted to be put on Coumadin and he was very much against that. Told me no because Eliquis was safer. That’s total bulls***! My dad took Coumadin for 40 years and never experienced any side-effects. It makes me wonder if Drs are getting a kickback from prescribing this expensive drug!
