Effect On Day 2?

So I have been on lo estrin 24 for over a year. On my last pack i got my period a week and a half before i was supposed to start the brown pills. I continued and finished the pack as usual and started the next one as scheduled. On day 2 of taking the active pills again the condom slipped. We caught it before anything happened. I still panicked (after reading info on pre ejaculate) and took First Choice a day and a half later. Am i still protected after only 2 days of use?

If you haven't missed any tablets and have only had placebo weeks where you had the withdrawal induced menstrual cycle, then you are always protected.

There is no break in protection, even during your period week, as long as you've not missed any of the active pills.
