I am 3 months pregnant and my doctor presibed me Ecosprin-75mg because of my heigh bloodpressure.is it safe to use it daily during pregnancy,i am worried about sideeffects on my pregnancy and my baby?

I am 34 years old and 8 weeks pregnant. My doctor has prescribed ecosprin-75 to me and I am very confused. Is there any problem in my pregnancy because the medicine is usually prescribed to heart patients? I don't have any physical problem and I am perfectly fit. So why was the medicine given to me? Should I continue taking the medicine or not as there is risk of bleeding and I am working woman.

This medication, which contains the active ingredient Aspirin, is commonly used to heart health, and blood thinning, when given during pregnancy, it is usually done to help increase blood flow to the baby, and it should be taken according to your doctor's instructions.

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and stomach irritation.
