Hello, Sam! How are you?
Usually, it's due to premature hormonal development. Many of our foods and some water supplies are contaminated now with various sources of estrogens, many girls are starting puberty at much younger ages than usual.
Treatment depends on how she is developing. Some doctors may not see any treatment as being required, but if the girl isn't dealing well with it, or isn't developing normally, they may prescribe something to shut her hormones down for several years.
What has the child's pediatrician advised?
