I was instructed to take 4 tables and 268mg Miralax for my colon test which I did and then later in the evening I had a seizure and was transported to the hospital not knowing anything for several hours. I was in ICU for 2 days. Could this have been from the medication I took for test. They did MRI, and all kinds of tests but could not come up with an answer. I had never had a seizure in my life.

Hello, Pat! How are you? Sorry about what happened to you.

I doubt it could have been caused by the laxatives and if the doctors don't think so, then that also casts further doubt on it.

But why did they have you prep with them, rather than just doing a regular bowel prep?
