While this is a regional product and the ingredients may vary from area to area, in most cases it is intended to be swished through your mouth/throat, or gargled, then spit out. The FDA does warn that depending on the ingredients, it may cause numbness of the mouth and throat, as well as a funny aftertaste.
You should follow the prescribing instructions for how often to use it, when to use it, and how much to use.
Is there anything I can help?
