Dry Cough Tablet Name

I've been coughing for almost a month. It's a dry cough and it feels like there's something sticking onto my throat that makes me want to cough. Sometimes my throat feels itchy. What medicine should I use? Please help me. I've been to the doctor but the med didn't work. They just gave me something for the allergy...Thanks.

Hi Beyone,

Sorry to hear about your cough. How have you been feeling since the timing of your post last week? Since this cough has persisted for almost a month, I can understand why they may have given you allergy medication. It's spring time now with things blooming and pollen in the air.

Do you feel sick other than the cough? If so, it could be a viral infection...although you'd probably have to get some clarification through the doctor before jumping to any conclusions. It's just a thought, because I had a similar ongoing cough a couple years ago, whereas I only coughed in our apartment and when I went outside for a walk it got better (very strange) - maybe my case was related to our new carpet at the time or something else indoors. Your case may be different?

For the time being, all I can encourage you to do is stay hydrated, perhaps even consuming a tablespoon or two of raw coconut oil, raw honey (w/ tea) or other things to help soothe any irritation.
