I take a drug test for my pain doctor. I do NOT use any other meds other than what's subscribed by my pain Dr. The last test test showed up with neurontin in my urine. Please explain how that happened. Again I don't even take any over counter or anything not subscribed to me.

I think it depends on the specific test. Lyrica contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, whereas Gabapentin is the active ingredient in Neurontin. They are prescribed for similar reasons. Are you sure the doctor or nurse didn't make some kind of mistake it happened to me once the nurse said I was positive for opioids I do not take opioids I knew it was wrong told her it was impossible she looked at the paperwork again and realized she was wrong

You are incorrect, gabapentin is the generic of neurotic. Lyrica is actually in the same family but not the same medication and in my experience much stronger
