It depends on the specific test which is ordered. Tylenol # 4 contains Codeine (not Hydrocodone), so you are talking about 2 different opiates. Some tests either give a "yes" or "no" that an opiate was detected, others can actually tell the difference. For example, in urine testing, an Immunoassay would give a simple "positive" result for opiates ... but a Mass Spectrometry test (either Gas or Liquid, aka GC/MS, LC/MS) can provide more details about the specific opiate detected.
