Altosex contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor that's used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

There is no specific time of day that it needs to be taken, but it should be done just before a meal, so it has the chance to start working by the time you are digesting your food.
