Dr That Prescribe Subutex San Diego Ca
UpdatedI have a metal rod that has 5 of my vertebrae fused together so I experience pain but do not ewant a lot of the strong pain killers I get addicted to. Suboxone requires at least 48 hrs of detox before use and I have children and a job so I do not have 72 hrs to be out of commission. I'd like to start on subutex immediately.

I am sorry, Nathan, but Subutex requires the same detox period. You must be in full withdrawal, or they might throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, vomiting, chills, fever, and seizures. There is also a risk of them being fatal.
The active ingredient, which is Buprenorphine, takes a stronger hold on the opiate receptors in your brain than other opiates do, so basically kicks them out, which can cause the precipitated withdrawals.
What medications are you currently taking?
Re: Verwon (# 1)
You have no idea what you are talking about, Verwon, regardless of whether or not you have a degree.. You don't get precip with subutex. You only have to wait until you feel ill and don't take more than 8 mg to begin, though 4 is better. Suboxone will mess you up if you dont wait at least 36 hours tho, or more. I know from experience with both.
They are very, very different in this regard only.
