Dr Reddy's Metoprolol Succinate Er 50 Mg

RUN AWAY! Or have your doctor change your prescription. I took Dr. Reddy's metoprolol because my new insurance wouldn't pay for the brand I had been taking for 5 years. 6 weeks of waking up everyday with red and swollen feet, achy left pectoral region, a 2x increase in my dress size, and a voracious appetite made me stop my use of it and pay out of pocket for the brand. Within 3 days of being on my old medication, Toprol XL , I was feeling like myself again.

Hello, Stevie! How are you doing?

I am very sorry about the experience you had with this medication and glad that the problem has resolved.

However, not everyone will have such an experience with a different generic. Some people are just very sensitive to any slight fluctuation in their medications, but most people aren't and will never notice a difference.
