Doxycyline can make you more sensitive to the sun, so you may burn or get heat stroke much faster than normal. Thus, if you really want to enjoy the sunshine, it would be best to be very careful and use a heavier sunscreen than you normally would. You should also make sure to drink extra fluids, since this sensitivity could also cause dehydration.
