I am an adult with an ear infection. Can doxycycline hyc be used to treat ear infections in adults?

Doxycycline is an antibiotic that can be user to treat bacterial infections in adults and children.

However, you shouldn't use it, unless your doctor has prescribed it for you, since it may not be the right one for you to take, or you may not actually have an infection.
