i too bought this same medication. the pharmacy was in canada but the pills shipped from india. says Combitic Global on the bubble pack and they are little unmarked orange tablets. they were falsely advertised as the blue ones the doc prescribed. i can't find any REAL info on these pills and i'm wondering why that is. there should be definitive info on the net but there isn't this seems fishy to me. i spent 68$ on 180. i hate to trash them all. have you experienced negative side effects and if you've been using them for a time, can you say they are actually working for sure? thank you in advance.

Personally, I just won't take any medication that is not identifiable. That's why I threw the unmarked orange pills in the trash. Better $68 now than unwarranted illness from the pills.

They surely should be marked with something -- either the manufacturer or the actual seller.

A friend gave me some because my doctor would not give me antibiotics for Rocky Mountain spotted fever. I went to my doctor at first sign and was mis diagnosed. I went back six months later and was told I had built up antibodies so I should wait it out. A year later I still have a low grade and the doctors say antibiotic are over used. Good grief! I took three weeks worth twice a day with food and no ill side effects. I feel better and my sinus infection is gone too. I'm crossing my fingers that it worked!

It is doxycycline. If you go on to combo tic global you will see images of the orange caplet. Medication from abroad is usually different in color as it is in hospital pharmacy to boots etc. It is safe. Pharmaceutical name is Doxip.

I was checking on line for answers but seems like no one aswer is doxyp 100 doxycicline same as doxycicline hyclate from prescription I look at the similaries of what they contain I found prescribed med doxycicline has Vibramycin and doxy 100 had generic Vibramycin with Means that there a imitation to the real name brand same company could of made it because all pills are not made in the USA and doxyp 100 do contain generic Vibramycin with Means they are doxicicicline hyclate just a different name and pill but should be the same can any one else aswer

Did your problems actually clear up because I get lower back pain that progressively gets worse until I take doxycycline hyclate for 21 days. After just 24 hours of taking the medication my pain is almost gone. I too feel strange saying this but the difference is like night and day in my body.

Are these antibiotics or sleeping pills? Will I fail a drug panel? I broke one open and it was yellow inside. Now I'm confused.

Actually doxycycline is meant to be taken with a full stomach but without any dairy priducts

According to MedlinePlus.gov, Doxycycline is generally taken once or twice daily. It is recommended that you drink a full glass of water with each dose. If you get an upset stomach while taking doxycycline, you may take it with food or milk. However, taking doxycycline with milk or food may decrease bioavailbility. It is recommended to talk with your doctor or pharmacist about the best way to take doxycycline.

They sure taste like doxycycline. I cracked one open & tasted it. I took 1/2 tablet w oatmeal. we shall see what happens. i'm using it for rosacea, as I can't find a doctor to rx it to me & no insurance.

I too am taking them or trying them for rosacea, regular doxy worked great.. My insurance won't cover doxy for rosacea because they say it is cosmetic. I took 1/2 tablet today.

They are doxycycline hyclate 100 mg. I am an ex-Army Nurse, and I have gotten many meds filled from India. Be careful with most. But this one is genuinely the antibiotic. To note: Indian med companies do NOT measure doses as well as the West.

Hello everyone, I just recieved an order of Doxip. I too became a bit nervous of the orange pill. Here is the limited research i did.

Doxycycline Hyclate is a yellow crystalline. snap open a pill - it's yellow inside. I really can't imagine someone would fake a colour when probably 99% of people just swallow the pill. how many look into the pharmacology and then open up a pill? not enough to warrant paying for dye is my guess.

I trawled through the FDA website for all warning notices on pharma manufacturers - combit wasn't in there at all - there were however enough warnings for lots of other. I did find some approval notices for combit (for what i don't know, the list wasn't full of much info, just ID codes)

I've had doxycycline 3 times before (prescribed through doctor) and each time i always had a bad sunlight reaction. i am starting this tonight, so i will post back if i get the same (expected) reaction.

Doxycycline is exceptionally cheap to produce. I believe that these pills do contain doxy (again, a guess). I believe the main concern you should have is the production process. Are there significant impurities?

After battling prostatitis for a number of years I've had a lot of antibiotics and never with any have I been nasueous or sick. the posts here of people vominiting make me suspect these pills may have impurities. If I vomit that's a good enough sign for me personally these pills have impurities. will post back...

From their site product information, they list it as containing Doxycycline, which is an antbiotic, used to treat various types of infections.
