UpdatedThere are new effective insomnia meds out there. I like Ambien and Lunesta. Be care full, they are a addictive just like placdidyl. If you want non adictive meds. Of course check with your doc first, Trazadone, Seroquil, Geodon, (most of these are anti psychotic drugs but they do work. And if you don't won't to go those routes ask for benzos.
