it is genaric for nurotin it is a 300 mg capsole used for nerve pain and used to help prevent seizures and used for shingles

The generic name is Gabapentin, this is, as the other poster stated, a 300mg capsule.

This is an antiseizure medication that has also been shown to treat certain types of nerve pain, including that from Shingles.

Since this is often thought to be a pain medication, I would suggest asking your daughter why she has it, and what she thought it was.
